ABOUT HASAN

Hasan Dagi, (3254m) is part of the Melendiz range, which rise us south of Cappadocia. The nearest town is Aksaray, and access is from the main Aksaray – Adana road, 21 km south of Aksaray. Aksaray can be access by bus from Kayseri (1 hr), and has several hotels. There are several villages on the slopes.

The mountain is a volcano, which last erupted eith throusand years ago, leaving a 4-5 km diameter crater and ttwin peaks. The climb of Hasan Dagi is non-technica and requires only basic equipment but plenty of water.
